Introducing the Built Stuff newsletter
It’s Memorial Day 2020, and we’re now over two months into Covid-19 stay-at-home orders in New York. One thing I miss most about being in isolation is a just a regular chance to converse with friends about topics I'm interested in, over happy hours, dinners, and casual gatherings. I've been fortunate to have accumulated a ton of smart, interesting acquaintances over the years and have had the pleasure of discussing a wide array of topics that I’m passionate about, ranging from technology to architecture to real estate to business and start-ups.

In an attempt to shift these in-person experiences to an online platform, I’m starting a bi-weekly email in hopes that people out there may find some of these topics enjoyable. It's simply called Built Stuff, and each issue will focus on a relevant topic in-depth (~500 words or so) and also highlight any cool finds from around the internet that I’ve discovered in the last two weeks. Topics will largely draw from my career as a product manager in various startups related to the building industry, my architectural background and training, and the highs and lows of being a life-long New Yorker and city-dweller.
As an example of what may come, I've got a first issue up about rent stabilization in New York and the plight of landlords. Feel free to check it out, leave a comment if you agree or disagree with any of my takes, and subscribe if you'd like to get this in your inbox!
